Casey Gardner

This is my self-portrait. The drawing was focused on drawing the proportions and facial features correctly. I feel as though I did okay. The glasses are wonky and the eyes are a bit too big. I think I could have made the background darker so my hoodie didn't blend into it. I just don't like this drawing. There are so many things wrong with it that I could make a list. My goal for the next time is to explore more with the value scale, get really into the darker shades and the lighter ones.
